Make sure your succulents get enough light
Succulents love light and need about six hours of sun per day; depending on the type of succulent.
Rotate Succulents Frequently
Succulents love direct sun and will lean towards the sun, so rotating will help the plant stand up straight. Note: If your plant is leaning, this may be a sign that they need to be in a sunnier spot.
Water According to the Season
During the spring and summer, the plants are thriving and drinking up much more water than when they’re resting in the fall and winter. Test the soil with a finger - when the top 1.25 inches are dry, your succulent needs a deep watering.
Overwatering can kill your succulent, so make sure you let the soil dry between watering’s. Typically, succulents need to be watered every 2-3 weeks.
If you choose to not drill a hole in the bottom of the planter, add some stones to the bottom to help with drainage. Plants don’t like their roots to be sitting in water.
